Description: Jeffrey Bergen is Professor of Mathematics at DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois. The author or coauthor of nearly 50 refereed papers and the coeditor of Advances in Hopf Algebras (Marcel Dekker, Inc.), he holds memberships in the American Mathematical Society and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Professor Bergen received the Ph.D. degree (1981) from the University of Chicago, Illinois. Stefan Catoiu is Associate Professor of Mathematics at DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois. The author or coauthor of several mathematical journal articles and one book chapter, Professor Catoiu is a member of the American Mathematical Society and the Mathematical Association of America. He received the Ph.D. degree (1997) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. William Chin is Professor of Mathematics at DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois. He is the author or coauthor of over 25 mathematical publications as well as a frequent invited lecturer at conferences on Hopf algebras and other algebraic topics. A member of the American Mathematical Society, Professor Chin received the Ph.D, degree (1985) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
