Pressure on time during the congress has been extreme and even with 17 parallel sessions it has not been possible to accommodate all papers offered. The organizers have taken great care to arrange the papers into different tracks, each consisting of a number of sessions, so as to minimize the overlap of subjects and authors. The Proceedings of the 13th World Congress on CD-ROM will contain the entire technical material from the congress and be structured in the same way as the conference sessions with 17 tracks/volumes of roughly equal size plus a plenary track/volume.
