Book. 8vo-over 7¾"-9¾" tall. Review-"I read a library copy of this 1981 book and now want to add it to my personal library. Unlike the many other books I have read on silversmithing, this is not a "see what I did" book. Rather, it teaches you basic operations and then provides you with step-by-step written and illustrated instructions for five different projects: Two rings, a bracelet, a watchband and a pendant, all using cabochon stones. The book does not pretend to do everything, but what it does, it does well. If you want to start doing silver work, try to find a copy of this book. As noted, you might be able to find it at your local library. Good luck. The book also list suppliers with names and addresses, and, although the book is from 1981, I have recently dealt with several of the suppliers listed. " Pages have tanned edges, one page has a few wrinkles on edge with short split. DJ protected by mylar cover attached with tape: tape residue. 159pp. Ships in sturdy cardboard, no bubble mailers!
