Description: The Kingdom of Lower Egypt has been occupied for a hundred years by the Shepherd Kings, the Hyksos who conquered with their dreadful war chariots. But now the Pharoah Ahmose, who rules the Upper Kingdom, will take back his ancient lands by making a two-fold alliance. First, he will make a pact of marriage with the mighty seafaring empire of Crete. Their navy will provide the anvil on which the armies of Upper Egypt can smite the invader. Second, and most strangely, Egypt will ally with a Goddess revered by the Shepherd Kings. Horse Goddess, who takes the form of a White Mare, has come from the steppes of Asia to Egypt, and has chosen an Egyptian girl to be her Servant and Priestess.
