Description:
Tarr continues her prehistoric romances about the Servants of the Horse Goddess. Lady of Horses plunges far back, to an age when the human race consisted of small bands of nomads moving across the land, living by the spear and arrow, following the herds for their survival.
Expand description
Only two lifetimes before, humans first tamed the horse. A single lifetime before, a young girlchild first dared to mount a mare, but the priests declared that this must be a man's privilege. They stole her achievement and made a new legend attributing her bold achievement to her brother.
But the spirit of the Horse Goddess will not be deprived of her servants.
