1st printing. Pictorial paperback. 288pp. A novel featuring Bigfoot / Sasquatch written by an author who wrote a lot of published short fiction, but only this novel. This is not a rare or even scarce book, but the twin (in sequence) ownership association of this copy makes it a one of a kind. The first noted owner was British Columbian Rene Dahinden of sasquatch research fame. His Richmond BC address is ink-stamped inside the front cover. Also stamped, above Dahinden's stamp, is the ink-stamp of Cubbyhole Books in Richmond, which is most likely where Rene acquired the copy. Additionally, on the top of the facing first page, "Carnal Hunger, " it is titled, is the ink signature of also widely recognized researcher and publisher of Bigfoot Times, D. (Daniel) Perez. He wrote the date of Oct. 26, 1982, under his name. No doubt Daniel can tell the buyer exactly where he was on that date. Of course there is a chance that the ownership sequence could be reversed with Perez scoping out a used bookstore in Richmond, finding this, and giving it to Dahinden. Well it is obvious from the first printed page of this book that the fiction will be going in lurid directions. If you buy this book, I'm not going to think you will actually read it, but it doesn't matter to me. As I peruse it, the professional author has written quite well. It's not a novel written by a hack. Good+ copy, slightly pushed at the binding. The fore edge of the covers are quite carefully and neatly reinforced with tape. Ordinarily this is a no-no, but in this case the tape discoloration is minimal and it has prevented the corners from becoming dog-eared.
