The life, times and art of the late Andrew Newell Wyeth--one of the best-known U.S. artists of the mid-Twentieth century and the youngest of the five children of illustrator and artist, Newell Convers Wyeth--by one of the first staff writer for the original Life magazine and the author of HOPE: A LOSS SURVIVED and BROKEN PROMISES. ANDREW WYETH is the first major work on the artist (now a collector's item). Meryman, incidentally, first met Wyeth when writing a 1964 Life article on the artist, becoming friends for life.
