Octavo. Blue boards and spine with shiny gilt lettering on the spine. Book has slight bumping at the head and tail of the spine. Very dark blue endpapers, nearly black. Binding is straight and tight. Small black remainder dot on the upper edge of the textblock-pages otherwise are all clean, white, and crisp. 471 pages. Dust Jacket-has just the faintest trace of rubbing at the tail of the spine and at the extreme tips of the outside corners-jacket otherwise clean, bright, and sharp. A lovely copy, not terribly common in the first printing. Introduction by Neil Gaiman and endorsements from an impressive cast of writers: Robert Jordan, Raymond Feist, Gene Wolfe, and others. A really nice copy.
