Signed by the Author SIGNED-Octavo. Violet boards quarterbound in a black backstrip with clean white lettering on the spine. Book has a very faint bump at the head and tail of the spine. White endpapers. Signed and inscribed (but not to anyone in particular) on the half title page by the author in shiny silver felt tipped pen: "Beware pigtails. / CMH" Binding is straight and tight. Pages are all clean, white, and crisp. 299 pages. Dust Jacket-has a nearly unnoticable trace of rubbing at the tail of the spine and at the extreme tips of a couple of the outside corners-jacket is otherwise all clean, bright, and sharp. A lovely copy; uncommon with the author's signature.
