Description: In this installment of the Doctor Orient Occult series, Dr. Owen Orient, the psychic detective, cures a senator's daughter of a fatal disease and then goes underground to become enlightened. He ends up at a protest, where he meets a psychic child and a bookie. The bookie eventually hires him to deliver a package by steamship, and it is on this voyage that he meets Raga Six, a vampire who has been undead for hundreds of years. He falls in love with her, tries to protect her from evil forces, and hones his psychic powers. After discerning her real identity and witnessing the destruction she causes, he sets out to defeat her magically.
