Octavo. Black boards and spine with shiny gilt lettering on the spine. Book has plenty of bumping at the head and tail of the spine with a few tiny closed tears in each. Brown endpapers. Binding is straight and tight. There are a few light smudges from handling on the outside edge of the textblock-pages inside are clean, white, and crisp. 462 pages. Dust Jacket-has just a trace of rubbing at the head and tail of the spine and at the very tips of the two upper outside corners. There are a few black spots on the inside of the front cover-not visible on the outside of the jacket. Book has the above noted wear from handling, but is still a relatively attractive copy. Not terribly common.
