Rebecca's friends, led by Peter Hawkings, Ian MacRae, the handsome Scotsman, and the lively tree nymph, Eva, follow her back through time. Eva has told them that they have enough power to go into the past but only O'Roarke can help them return to the present.
They manage to find Rebecca, but not before she and O'Roarke have become lovers. They watch in horror as O'Roarke is captured, tried as a pirate and sentenced to hang. Peter, Rebecca, Eva and Ian set out to free O'Roarke so they can return to Salem, 1999.
