GETTING STARTED

A. Creating an Account

To begin selling on TextbookX.com, you first need to set up an account. Click the link at the top of the homepage titled Create an account, and follow the instructions on subsequent pages to complete the process. Note that you will be prompted to read and accept our Membership Agreement, which is required to use the marketplace.

B. Determine Your Seller Type

Seller Type	Specifications	Suggested Qty
Individual	Required: Internet connection Appropriate for users with a small number of titles. Management of your inventory and orders is handled through your online account on TextbookX.com.	1 - 25
Store	Required: Internet connection, MS Excel (or other spreadsheet software) Appropriate for users with a large number of titles and a relatively low daily order volume. Management of your inventory and orders is handled through your online account on TextbookX.com, utilizing an inventory file upload utility available through the "sales" tab of your account.	26 - 3000
Volume Seller	Required: Internet connection, Technical resources Appropriate for users with a large number of titles and a relatively high daily order volume. Management of your inventory and orders is completely file-based using our ftp server. Volume Sellers must be individually approved by TextbookX.com.	3000+
To be set up as a volume seller, you must contact us first. Please include your TextbookX.com username, and a brief description of your operation.
