Description:
This text was written to provide both students and instructors of research methods with various options to learn and practice many frequently used basic techniques. Most traditional research methods texts provide students with a plethora of information about a wide range of topics by adding a few questions at the end of each chapter. The study questions are rarely integrated throughout the text. Recently, approaches to education have begun incorporating interactive 'learning-through-doing' techniques, which have been developed in the past few decades. The authors believe it is time to provide students and instructors of research methods with an option that incorporates a more hands-on, interactive approach to the subject.
