Changes to NCCER’s covered task modules include updates to the latest technology and standards and alignment to the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) Recommended Practice for Pipeline Operator Qualification (OQ) 1161 3rd edition (2014). Each CT module contains task-specific Abnormal Operating Conditions (AOC) to which the trainee must be prepared to respond.
