Description: This is a delightful book of poetry written by elementary age students from grades four through seven. The children attended a curriculum enrichment program of outdoor/environmental education at the Mohican School In The Out-of-Doors, Inc. Each student entered the poetry contest sponsored by the school since 1961. Their poems express how they feel about the outdoor program, the natural environment, water, wildlife, sunsets & other subjects. There is beauty & humor throughout the book.
