Expand description
After her mother's death, sixteen-year-old Laura looks through Jasmine's things, hoping to gain insight into why they were never close. Laura finds a letter Jasmine wrote the day before she died to a woman named Megan, who was obviously a close childhood friend.
What prompted Jasmine to contact Megan after twenty-five years, Laura wonders, and why was she asking for forgiveness? Laura's obsession with her mother's past leads her to the shocking truth: Together, Megan and Jasmine murdered Megan's parents. And Megan will do anything to keep her past buried, even if it means burying Laura. This riveting mystery will challenge readers to think about how far they should go in the name of friendship.
