Growing up, I always felt out of place, but not for the reason some might think. During a trip to the City of Accra, Ghana, I met my paternal grandmother Fatoumatta Baffour. The old lady taught me the truth about myself, which I've long suspected. I am more than human. My clan is descended from Were-Hyenas, Supernatural entities that roamed West Africa and the Middle East in ancient times and acted as intermediaries between the World of Man and the great Realms of the Supernatural.
