Description:
Cyrus Readymoney, the ten-year-old son of a successful shipping broker and a beautiful former tennis star, is devoted to the sensory splendors of films and all manner of food. His days are made up of mischief and masturbation, tennis tournaments and truancy from school; his mind is fried with daydreams of becoming a grown-up. With the collapse of his parents' marriage and his father's sudden death, however, Cyrus finds himself caught between the innocence of youth and the responsibilities of adulthood.
