Description: Charlie Muffin is quite a clever fellow: as a top-notch mouse farmer, he can breed all kinds of mice; as a taxidermist, he can reunite people with pets that have passed on. But Merry Day -- an attractive new customer of Muffin's High-Class Mice -- wants Charlie to breed a green mouse. To Charlie, a green mouse is like a flying pig -- impossible! But to impress Merry, he goes for the green. Finally (after several creative mouse-breeding attempts), Charlie succeeds in breeding a beautiful, green-as-a-garden pea mouse named Adam. Inspired by this exciting moment, Charlie and Merry confess their love for each other and decide to debut Adam at the Grand Mouse Championship Show for their honeymoon. The mouse fanciers are amazed and Adam is named Supreme Champion. After successfully avoiding a green mouse burglary, life gets even better when Merry has a baby, Cherry. And Charlie, Merry, and Cherry Muffin live quite happily until the inevitable day comes when Adam dies. But clever Charlie makes sure that Adam will live on forever: he puts his taxidermy skills to work and displays the pea green Adam on the Muffin mantelpiece.
