Description:
Donna (nee Donna Hope Betasso) holds a BA degree in journalism and advertising from the University of Colorado at Boulder, which is also her hometown. She's lived in Cheyenne since 1952, save two years in Laramie right after her marriage in 1958. The Smith's have three grown children in the fields of medicine, communications and education. Her husband is a retired attorney and does very well at it. Donna, on the other hand is failing miserably at even the earliest moves in this direction. There's always something else she wants to do, and this book has been one of the "else's". She's worked at newspapers, radio and TV stations and started her own advertising/public relations agency in 1982. The latter is now officially closed, but she dabbles in media work. Donna is still active as a teacher, consultant and facilitator in her chosen field. During any "free" time, she writes stories, which, when the mood strikes her just right, she'll submit to publishers. Lining the walls with pink slips isn't so bad. It casts a rosy glow over the premises! She'll continue to write stuff in her mountain home loft at the foot of the Snowy Range in Wyoming.
