A cabal of conspirators is searching for alien babies using "remote viewers", psychically gifted men and women. The conspirators intend to capture the aliens and hijack their technology -- and they will kill whomever gets in their way. Beautiful Casey Armstrong is a highly-successful remote viewer. Psychic contact with the infant John Reed has freed her from the cabal's brainwashing, but when she runs away, she is accused of kidnapping and possibly murdering the now-vanished baby.

Police Detective Caruso hates the mysterious man in white who suddenly seems to be running his police department, and who won't listen to Caruso's suspicions that Casey is being framed.
