Description:
High Praise! features 45 easy-to-use descants to be sung to familiar hymns. The hymns have been selected from several hymnals, including: The United Methodist Hymnal, The Presbyterian Hymnal, The Hymnal 1982 (Episcopal), The Baptist Hymnal, Rejoice in the Lord (Reformed), and Worship lll (Roman Catholic). Each hymn is in at least three of these hymnals, and the descants "fit" harmonically with all of the various harmonizations in the different books. They are also melodically interesting and stylistically appropriate to the hymn with which they are sung.
