Description:
A stand-alone multimedia supplement (CD-ROM) for Introductory Physics courses both algebra-based and calculus-based. This highly interactive CD-ROM is designed to augment the traditional learning experiences of lecture, lab, and text. It includes several dynamic components simulation, animation, video, and interactive problem solving that enable students to interact and visualize concepts in ways not possible in traditional learning programs. Content is organized according to four main topic areas in physics mechanics, electricity and magnetism, thermodynamics, and light and optics. While the CD is designed to be interactive, professors can use any of the simulations, animations or videos for their lectures.
