Description:
Peculiar and delightful, Miss Tizzy is beloved by all the children in her multicultural neighborhood. She bakes cookies with them, helps them make puppets, and even organizes a parade through the streets. When the elderly woman falls ill, her young admirers know just how to return her kindness. "Rowland's soft but vivid watercolors fit the bill perfectly and are as warm and inviting as the grand lady herself". -- Booklist.
