Description:
It's the long, hot summer between high school and college, and Jaime Cody is working a double shift. But Jaime is not your average 18-year-old who's waiting tables for spending money. She's hoping to earn back the college tuition her father stole from her. A whole country lies between Arizona, where Jaime lives, and Bryn Mawr, a college for women in Pennsylvania. Her plan is perfect, until a boy named Buddy appears. Jaime figures Buddy can be her secret, just for the summer. And in the fall, she'll head east to begin her new life. Or so she thinks.
