Description:
Here's a great way for youngsters to learn about pioneer life on the American frontier. On the inside front cover there is a scene of a homesteader's small farm -- complete with log cabin, fenced-in pasture land, a small vegetable garden, and barnyard animals. On the inside back cover the scene is of a log cabin with a fireplace, small bed, storage shelves, and a few supplies. To these two areas, children can add realistic sticker images of a cast iron stove, cooking pot, benches (with seated youngsters), a kerosene lamp, roosters, seed bag, buckets, as well as family members preparing meals, churning butter, sewing, shoeing a horse, milking a cow, chopping wood, and engaging in other activities. The 50 peel-and-apply stickers are reusable, allowing young pioneers to vary these scenes of frontier life as many times as they wish.
