Every chapter includes examples of what to do and not to do for each step of the way (i.e. several sample essays, inquiry letters and applications with critiques). Also, we use The Princeton Review's famous "Joe Bloggs" character to show students how to avoid typical mistakes that plague scholarship applications.
The second half of the book lists more than 100,000 scholarship opportunities. They are arranged into two indexes: one alphabetical, and the other by category. Each entry also includes at-a-glance icons that describe the type of scholarship, and what the various criteria are. All of the necessary address and telephone information is included to help students properly direct their application.
