Description:
In this brilliantly funny collection of humorous riffs, Steve Martin demonstrates that he is a master of both the written and spoken word. From a re-imagining of the Schroedinger's Cat conundrum to a skit entitled "I Love Loosely" in which Lucy and Ricky play the pans of the First Lady and President Clinton, the audiobook's pieces, some of which have first appeared in The New Yorker, are hilariously funny and intelligent in their skewering of the topic at hand. With a playwright's ear for dialogue and a sense of comic irony that only Steve Martin could pull off, "Pure Drivel" will have listeners crying with laughter -- and marveling at Martin's wonderful prose and performance!
