Description: Monk and Hester return from an extravagant three-week honeymoon in the highlands of Scotland. They are still very much in love, but Hester finds it difficult to be a perfect Victorian housewife. Suddenly Lucius Stourbridge hires Monk to find his fiancee, who disappeared on the day of their engagement party along with the family coachman. When the coachman is found dead and Miriam Gardiner alive and in hiding, she is arrested for murder.
