Description: The bestselling author of Memories and More Memories strikes gold again in this unique tribute to the country music business. In The View from Nashville, Ralph Emery visits with some of Nashville's biggest names to talk music, swap tall tales, and have a grand ol' time. In his latest bestseller, Emery remembers legendary Conway Twitty through a chat with Twitty's widow and checks in with Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, and Brenda Lee. He takes us backstage with Brooks and Dunn and includes stories about Colonel Tom Parker, Ray Charles, Olivia Newton-John, Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt, Vince Gill, Deana Carter, and many, many more. This intimate and colorful portrait of the country music business is deliciously spiced with the insider savvy that won Ralph Emery no less than six Country DJ of the Year Awards and earned him the nickname "the Johnny Carson of Country Music".
