Description: Twelve-year-old Lion (short for Lionel) is in trouble. First of all, he is forced to spend his holiday accompanying his lawyer dad and older sister Bobbi to a remote gold-rush town. As if that weren't enough, his dad has bought him a horse named Raj to keep him occupied, and Lion dislikes horses -- almost as much as horses dislike Lion and love Bobbi. To complicate matters, Lion finds himself plunged into a mystery involving his dad's client -- a lonely young "witcher" who is in danger because of her unusual ability to find buried treasure. How can Lion convince his dad that the people who say they want to help the witcher are really trying to hurt her? And how can he protect the witcher when she keeps disappearing before his very eyes?
