Description: Revised and updated, a new lesson that covers the Internet along with the latest vocabulary on PC's and e-mail is included. Additional exercises have been added for plenty of review and practice and the culture notes cover even the Euro!

The eight hours of recordings are separated into two sets. The first four recordings (Learn at Home) are in the target language only and are meant to be used with the coursebook. The second set of recordings (Learn on the Go), contains both English and the target language so no book is needed to follow along. The Learn on the Go recordings reinforce and build on material introduced in the Learn at Home recordings. Students can learn in the car, at the gym, or anywhere. This two-tiered approach to language learning is described as "ingenious" by Professor Kuhn-Osius of the City University of New York.

All 40 lessons begin with a lively, authentic dialogue. Additional sections explain grammar and usage, offer additional, related vocabulary, quiz students on their progress, and provide interesting cultural information.
