In Who Kidnapped Jesus? Elizabeth's life turns into a whirlwind of preparations as December 25 approaches. She's in charge of writing the church Christmas play for her youth group's Christmas Eve service. Just as she starts to craft the play, she discovers that the baby Jesus figure has been taken from the Bryan's front yard nativity scene. It's Elizabeth's most treasured Christmas decoration and the most important part is gone!

As the story progresses, Elizabeth realizes that the kidnapper is planning each move according to the scenes in her play. Elizabeth tries to quickly change the scenes in order to find the culprit behind the scam.

The story ends with an important message as Elizabeth and her family discover that their closest friends have come to know Jesus through their example.
