Expand description
His enigmatic and menacing approach to the character led to a complete reinterpretation of the Time Lord. However, though the 'Dark Doctor' was a fan favorite, the show was given a difficult time-slot and audiences continued to decline. In 1987, the unthinkable happened; Doctor Who was cancelled. For ten years the show would be off air, spawning a host of tie-in products and unofficial material to satisfy the show's legions of fans.
