Each title is a complete story, but since the continuing characters are not reintroduced, readers need to start reading with the first book. Each title has several symbolic illustrations, characters are drawn to let the reader know which character is being depicted. Although the story is the common "aliens have landed" variety, the variation is that some of the aliens are already on earth, below the surface. Recommended.
