Since no animal life was known there before, Bones rushes to examine the evidence. However, his attempt to preserve the dragon-like fossils and their environment meets opposition from the start. The miners would rather continue their profitable strip-mining business and ignore the saurian artifacts. Dr. Bones and his crew interfere, and the tension builds. Soon, mysterious disturbances trouble the miners and the excavators alike, and threaten the safety of the artifacts.
